AB Bank signs deal with LEADS for on-line banking
Arab Bangladesh Bank Limited and LEADS Corporation Limited
signed an agreement in the city recently to introduce PcBANK2000
Islamic Banking Version as its banking application software for
their Islamic banking branches.
This is a fully integrated real-time on-line Application
Software package. The Software will operate on DELL Platform.
M A Awal, President and Managing Director (Acting) of AB Bank
Limited and Shaikh Abdul Aziz, Managing Director of LEADS
Corporation Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their
respective organisations.
MA Rais Khan, Executive Vice President, Md Amirul Islam, Senior
Vice President, Javed Islam, Head of IT and Cards Mrs Nazma
Khatun, Chief Officer of AB Bank Limited, were present at the
signing ceremony.
Md Mokbul Hossain, Tauhidul Hoque and Anisur Rahman Khan from
LEADS were also present.
Currently over 400 branches of 17 local and foreign banks are
using LEADS' Banking Application Software. Banks can now provide
Online Banking, ATM Banking, Phone Banking, SMS (Mobile Phone)
Banking and Internet Banking facilities to their customers.
